Product Marketing Manager

Reporting to and working closely with the CMO, you will be an integral hire for Capp's expanding marketing team, helping to establish a Product Marketing function within the growing business.

Role Description

Your mission is to help to define and communicate the positioning of our solutions and services in partnership with key stakeholders, drive demand for our offering and provide the right assets to support the client buying and nurturing processes. In addition to this you will act as a strategic partner for the product team providing customer and industry feedback on our innovation roadmap and enable sales and marketing to take our solutions to market with impact across the globe. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Be a key contributor to Capp’s Go-To-Market Strategy
  • Develop and execute the positioning strategy, messaging, promotion and selling of our solutions, developing value propositions and supporting assets that resonate with specific buyer personas in partnership with key stakeholders
  • Work with the CMO and business stakeholders to create and deliver sales and marketing tools throughout the product lifecycle, such as sales presentations, conversation guides, talk tracks, brochureware, promotional content, white papers, videos, best practice guides, and solution sheets that out-position the competition
  • Train and support all sales and customer success teams globally activating them to be ready to sell new and existing offerings to the target audience
  • Work with the marketing team to meet defined demand generation goals at enterprise and campaign level.
  • Be the product evangelist by analysing the market landscape, customer needs and trends to continuously feed market requirements to Product Management to help shape the innovation roadmap, and inform the activity of the Sales and Marketing teams
  • Support CMO in putting the company on the radar of top industry analysts by taking part in briefings and ongoing engagement

Essential Skills and Experience

  • 5 years of product marketing experience - experience in the field of talent assessment and development solutions and service is preferred
  • BA or BS in marketing, business or related fields or experience equivalent
  • Proven international experience - working with many countries of different cultures
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders in a highly matrixed organisation
  • Flexible cross-functional team player comfortable in a fast-paced environment with the ability to align multiple stakeholders and teams, especially Product Management, Sales and Marketing
  • Willing to travel up to Birmingham/London (depending on location) 25% of the time
