Role Description

Based in London, the Resource Deployment Manager is regarded as an integral enabler to the growth of our business. You will primarily focus on aligning Capp talent from across all functions to our ever-growing portfolio of projects, to support consistently excellent delivery to all our clients. We are looking for an excellent people person - a strong influencer able to manage a range of stakeholders whilst also demonstrating strong analytical skills and commercial acumen that will help us continue to strengthen our business. This is a fantastic opportunity to build on your professional career to date and play a pivotal, visible role in an exciting growing business.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Proactively advise on appropriate resourcing solutions using your knowledge of our clients, their projects and team member’s capabilities
  • Proactive internal liaison to understand client/project requirements and the wider needs of the business to facilitate effective resourcing decisions
  • Manage demand fulfilment in line with utilisation, chargeable hours, margin, revenue, client quality and employee engagement targets
  • Deal with escalated resourcing issues and make decisions on conflicting demands, liaising with Team and Project Leaders as required
  • Understand skill sets of Capp staff and proactively deploy individuals to areas where optimal utilisation can be achieved
  • Provide regular information to the Operations Board and Department Heads on project performance; identifying trends, interventions and actions to improve results
  • Share insight with the Operations Board to inform workforce planning alongside the changing needs of the business
  • Support and implement continual improvement of resource deployment processes
  • Support the implementation of new resourcing software; assist in training others
  • Update and maintain the resourcing platform to ensure accurate information available at all times
  • Proactively spot resourcing risks or challenges and working to escalate and mitigate these risks
  • Building business relationships across all areas of the business, including but not limited to, Engineering, Design, Solutions and IT
